So this Saturday, which happens to be the same day that Beck is performing amongst a sleugh of other great artists, I fly away to Byron Bay, Australia. I'll be there for a year finishing my degree in Audio Engineering @ SAE.

Exciting stuff, I still got to find a place to live, but I'm checking into a hostel and looking until school starts on the 23rd.

Really can't wait to get overseas again, by this time its gonna be summer again, so I get to enjoy them Aussie beaches a bunch... mark my word i'll be watchin' out for those sting rays.

Saw "the Protector", "Beerfest", and "Black Dahlia"
all were a bit disappointing... Beerfest being the lamest, the Protector next, then Dahlia.

Actually I also saw "Idiocracy" Mike judges new film... it was cool, definitely had its moments.

Genius, pure genius. I am doubly impressed by the selection of live footage for such artists as Bjork, Tom Waits and Primus... Oh Shit!!! I forgot to look at Radiohead! More to come for sures.

I've noticed that the majority of people on buzznet are post indie/emo/scene kids under the age of 18 and are all into freakin' Fall Out Boy or my Chemical Romance... what's up with that? I am not a "hater" in nature but... come on... that music is not cool. Its just a bunch of watered down power chords and break downs from a bunch of kids in make up, with bad hair cuts.

You wanna be punk? Try listening to stuff before the year 1980 and come back and talk to me.

My two favorite channels at the moment are Bravo and IFC.
Bravo I watch because of a sic obsession with Project Runway Season 3, but now I've been sucked into Workout because it directly follows PR3.
Now IFC... this is a different story. I can watch this for hours on end and not even want to change the channel. So many good original series, great indie movies and the in between stuff is the best.

I've been looking around here, frankly I am still dumb-founded by this.
I will say its cool that there are people from around the world here mingling... I have yet to find some really coolies... I'll be looking.
